Together against loneliness among older people

With our aids we help older people to a better quality of life. Over the past year it has become increasingly clear to us how fragile life can be and that some older people feel lonely. That touches us, and so we wanted to do something about it together.

Then we realised that we can make a difference. Small, targeted actions, such as an aid that really helps or a donation, contribute to a dignified life for lonely older people.

The Dutch National Elderly Fund (Nationaal Ouderenfonds) connects older people with each other and with society. Connection is the medicine against loneliness. Through projects such as playing sport together with OldStars and getting out together with the PlusBus, they make a difference.

They create meaningful encounters for social contact today and a strong social network for tomorrow. The solutions are scalable, so other parties also work with them independently. This way more older people stay social, vital and connected to society.
